Policies

Every customer is asked to sign a copy of a "Serenity Pet Spa Policies" with no exceptions. We keep a copy on file and you get a copy as well.

Vaccinations:         All dogs are required to have vaccinations for Rabies and DHLPP.

Cancellations:       On rare occasions, we may need to cancel appointments due to weather or equipment failure, etc. Every effort will be made to
contact you in advance, and to reschedule as soon as possible.
If you can not keep your appointment , we ask that you please call us at least 24 hours in advance, so that we have a chance to fill the vacancy.
No Call / No Show customers need to make their next appointment in person and prepay for the grooming service at the time they make an
appointment.
If you are on the “Preferred Customer Program” (10% off) and you do not call to cancel or reschedule, your next appointment is regular price.

Basic Grooming Price:     Basic grooming price is based on dogs that get groomed every 4 weeks and have no matts or shedding hair to remove.
Each dog's price is adjusted individually according to the time between appointments, their behavior, and special needs.

Payments:          Payment is due at the time of service. We take cash, check and credit cards.
All fees must be paid at the time services are rendered. Checks returned due to insufficient funds will be subject to a $25.00 returned check fee and all
appointments after that must be paid in cash only. Your check can be processed electronically.

Complaints:     Complaints must be submitted within 24 hours of the appointment date.
We will do everything we can to give your dog the most enjoyable experience possible.

De-Matting Fees:      If your dog has matts, de-matting fee will be charged of $15.00 per 30 minutes of de-matting. Even if the dog is shaved down,
because we charge for the time that we need to pre-groom dog before bath.

Handling Fees:     Handling fee of $10.00 per 30 minutes will be charged if your dog requires assistance of another groomer during grooming
procedure. That includes senior pets and dogs with aggressive or difficult behavior. There is an automatic $75.00 fee if your dog bites an employee.
Depending on assistance required puppies might be charged $15.00 handling fee.

Clean Up Fee: Please make sure that your dog went to the bathroom before the grooming appointment. Using the grounds of the shopping center for
dog waste is prohibited.
If your dog has frequent accidents (goes in the bathroom in our salon) cleaning fee of $10.00 will be charged. Please understand that we are working
on a schedule to make your dog beautiful on time. Re-washing and re-drying dogs after clean up sets us behind the schedule.

Bug Kill Policy:    We have an automatic bug kill policy. If your dog has fleas we are required to do flea shampoo or dip that kills live fleas. Please
understand that this treatment will not kill flea eggs which will hatch in 7 days. Therefore, it is your responsibility to get preventive flea treatment for
your dog within 48 hours, treat all other animals in the household, and de-flea the house.

We work by appointment , so please be on time for drop off and pick up.

We enjoy different personalities of our pets, however, we reserve the right to refuse service to aggressive dogs at our discretion.
